I am martini crazy. I am on a mission to make at least one martini for every color in the rainbow. So far I’ve covered 3 of those colors.
I guess the obsession started when my boss at Starbucks threw me a going away party before I moved here and I was introduced to appletinis by a co-worker. I had many that night. Many. I don’t quite remember getting home.
Anywho, I was immediately hooked. After moving to Sweden I was greatly disappointed by the inability to get an appletini at any bar here. Making my own was completely out of question because, well, I live in Sweden and you have to sell your first-born in order to afford liquor here.
And then I got a job. And so started the martini adventure…
I’ve so far concocted sour apple martinis, raspberry cosmopolitans, and tropical pineapple martinis. They are like triangular glasses of heaven. I seriously intend on having a martini party in the near future. Well, maybe just for my girlfriends. .. don’t know if the guys would be to interested in that…
So the martini adventure continues. My next color concoction will be blue. I’m not sure what that will entail just yet. But I’m sure it will be intoxicating *big grin*

My husband came up with a blue concoction he calls, “Papa Smurfs”…not exactly what comes to mind when you think of martinis, but definitely fun nevertheless.
