Broken must not even describe how a dear friend feels tonight. Early this morning a friend of mine’s 16 year old son was killed in a tragic accident. It’s even been in the papers and ont he news. This woman has been through more than any one I know in the past year, what with losing family members, terrbile sicknesses among friends and family, and so on. She is one of the most generous and kind people I know and she doesn’t deserve this. And my latest conversation with her (before today) was all about her feeling better and ready to not let life get her down any more. And she must now feel just so broken.
My heart is with her on this sad day. I can’t imagine what it must be like.

I cannot even imagine what your friend must be going through–my deepest sympathies to her.
Please tell your friend I will say a prayer for her and for you to help her through this terrible time.
My 25-yr-old nephew was killed in a car accident about 2 years ago, and it was the most terrible thing that could happen to us. My heart goes out to your friend and I hope that she has friends and family that will rally around her in this horrible time. I will keep her in my thoughts and prayers.
Just so tragic – we mourn with your friend. Your illustration is a fitting tribute.
Our thoughts go out to your friend and her family.
