My name is Irma. I'm 27 and I live in Stockholm, Sweden. I am, however, from New Jersey, USA. I moved here in March of 2003 to live with my boyfriend (now husband.) We were married here in Stockholm in August 2006.

I work in "music research" which doesn't at all explain what it is I do. But I'm not going to get into it. It's a great job. My life revolves around music so it fits me perfectly. I have a fantastic boss and a enjoy going to work pretty much all the time. This job was one of the best things to happen to me snce I moved here, especially after working 3 years at a school that sucked the life and happiness out of me.

My Swedish is OK. I can get by, have conversations, read the newspaper, watch TV, understand my clients on phone and email, etc. I can't understand everything, and I can't say everything either. I'm not fluent. But I'm trying to get to that point.

I like to spend my free time illustrating and working on websites - when I feel like being a homebody. But my true love right now is my comic strip. It gives me nothing but joy to be able to create something that people actually like to continue following! Otherwise I love to go out and have coffee or drinks with friends. I love concerts too. But, unfortunately, not too many good acts come to Stockholm anymore.
