I don’t believe I ever mentioned the addition of the freebies page. It’s replaced the wallpaper page. The wallpapers are still there, there’s just more freebie stuff now too. Like smilies. I made those smilies a few years back. I keep meaning to install them on this site, but I’m too busy/lazy to LOL But there is a really cute set there that you can use. And you have a choice of four different colors: blue, pink, yellow and gray.** I don’t know if I’ll ever be adding more to those sets. I think they have enough in there now anyway. If you use them, please credit me as the creator. That’s all I ask

As for artsy stuff - I’ve been too busy working on my wedding invitations to paint anything. And when it comes to illustrations, I’ve been doing some things for some clients, so i haven’t hadthe time for my own stuff for here. But I’ll show you the final products of those illos once they are approved. Until then, enjoy the freebies.

** If you already have downloaded oneof these sets you may have to download it again. I recently noticed some of the wrong colors were mixed into the sets. I’ve rezipped all of them and I htink they’refine now.

I’ve been home sick since Wednesday so I’ve had a lot of free time to kill (don’t worry, I’m finally getting better!). So I’ve created a few Christmas themed updates on the site for you! I’ve added 3 Christmas/Holiday e-cards, and 2 Christmas wallpapers. I also added a Martini wallpaper I made a little while back but forgot to upload to the site. Enjoy!

OK that’s not true anymore. I only wanted to keep that image up because I liked it. You may come on in. The site is completely revamped. All the quirks should be fixed now as well. If you find anything wacky, just let me know, but otherwise, all should look ok!

Why the change? Everyone needs a good change now and then. I really liked my old design. Lots of other people did too. I mentioned to someone once a while back I wanted to re-vamp and they told me they liked the old one way too much to see it go. So I kept it. But now I’ve had enough of it. Thus, came this.

I spent much of last night and today revamping. I’m very pleased with the results. I hope you are too!

I was hoping to have a few things to update with tonight, but this wallpaper took me much longer than planned. I thought I would get 3 done! Nope. Not even close. But I did finish one wallpaper, which I’m very pleased with.

See, the ideal thing right now would be to save this wallpaper for when I’ve finished a lot more, and then upload all at the same time, and do one big update.

I’m not that patient.

Remember, some time long ago, I said I was an instant gratification kind of girl? Yeah, that hasn’t changed.

Anyway, I hope you like. (pssst… it’s on the wallpaper page. No I don’t think you’re stupid. I know it’s Monday and as a rule of thumb brains aren’t functioning well today.

Update: I added a second wallpaper now. I couldn’t resist! It’s called Shop Girl. I’m not 100% sure on the colors for this one… let me know what you think… I might change it…

I’ve taken a little break from my money-making projects tonight to make a few new e-cards. A week ago I added a Mother’s Day card, which was probably too late for Mother’s Day in the US (as well as other countries). But I know that Mother’s Day is still coming up in Sweden (May 28th), and maybe other places in the world.

Tonight I made a few more. A Get Well card, a Pregnancy Card and 3 baby cards.

I can’t believe I got so many comments with my last post. Thank you for letting me know I’m not talking to a wall. You all gave me the instant gratification I so well needed. Thank you!

With that I was inspired to go through my work and find a few more things to add to my folio. It was just a couple of things, not much though. Also, I realized I couldn’t get the thumbnails open because of some missing javascript code. I could have sworn it worked before. But anyway, it’s fixed now. If you couldn’t open the thumbnails before then you should be able to now.

Also - I added a penguin wallpaper. It’s one I made to have on our computer about a year ago and never put it up until now. I hope you like it!

I also updated my “about irma” page. I decided to add a few more things in there. And, as suggested by a commenter, on my folio page I wrote a very brief description of how I make my graphics.

I need to get this blog visited more. I don’t think I have any regular readers. I think the only people who have stopped by are the ones who stumble in with Blog Explosion. But I think it’s difficult to grab onto people when my writing is very specific: just about illustration.

Granted I also just started this blog a little over a week ago. But I’m also an impatient person. I require instant gratification *grin*

I’ll have to think about whether I am going to write more personal “off topic” posts. Maybe people are more interested in that. But we’ll see…
